Job Overview:
As the Quality Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of quality throughout our organization’s operations.
You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance processes and systems to uphold regulatory compliance and exceed customer expectations.
Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
– Sole responsibility for managing and running the companies Quality Management System to ISO 9001:2015
– Administrator for Q-Pulse quality management system software, creating user accounts, providing instruction where required, and maintaining all modules in use.
– Sole responsibility for managing the company’s calibration system. Maintaining resources, traceability, and records, by ensuring all assets are within calibration period, by arranging external calibration. ensuring that items are calibrated to the correct specifications, and certificates are maintained and readily available.
– Sole responsibility for control and distribution of documented information relevant to the QMS & H&S system via the QPulse software system. Responsible for ensuring documents are maintained and relevant.
– Provide manufacturing specifications to customer service dept when a customer requires a Certificate of Conformity.
– Responsible for the control of non-conformance outputs raised through the Inspection Report process, including correction, segregation/containment, and authority on subsequent actions.
– Responsible for managing all customer complaint handling & resolution, with additional support from ASM’s and technical staff where required.- Responsible for implementing corrective/preventative actions based on non-conformances raised within the company. In conjunction with the Purchasing Dept, carry out Supplier appraisal based on the quality of the products or services provided, ensuring every relevant supplier is appraised at least once per year.
– Provide KPI reporting weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually. Fully responsible for updating the Quality Department score card as part of the Industrial Products Operating Plan.
– Solely responsible for managing the internal auditing programme in line with the requirements of ISO 9001.
– The main point of contact for our external ISO 9001 accreditation body, BSI, and support the bi-annual continuous assessment from BSI to ensure the company meets the requirements of ISO 9001:2015.
– Solely responsible for managing, motivating, and evaluating the competency of the Production Engineer.
– An active member of the company’s H&S Leadership committee.
– Develop and maintain effective working relationships across the business
Requirements:
Formal training in the following areas relevant to the role;
Auditing to ISO 9001 QMS
Recognising the changes to ISO 9001:2015
Implementing changes to ISO 9001:2015
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
Managing People for Growth
· Good communication & interpersonal skills
Data analysis
Report writing
Understanding of quality control procedures and international standards
High attention to detail/Thoroughness
Highly conscientious
Project Management
Proficient in MS Office
Team Leadership
Product Knowledge
Experience of managing and running a Quality Management System to ensure ISO 9001 accreditation.

Pay: £38,000.00 per year
