Starrett Tapes are offered in a wide range of styles and sizes, with graduations in both metric and imperial to meet virtually every requirement for accurate tape measurement. All Starrett precision measuring tapes are characterised by their accuracy, ease of handling and most importantly, by the distinct lines and numbering styles which makes reading easy.
Short Line Tapes feature rugged industrial quality, with thicker, tougher, heavy duty blades constructed from tempered high carbon steel. On Tru-Lok and ProSite Tapes an exclusive Tough Tip blade protector, triple riveted and stainless steel plated, reinforces the tape blade end and dramatically reduces risk of breakage.

530 Series - Vinyl Case Long Line Tapes
- Featuring steel cases covered with a tough red vinyl, the long handle and large drum provide extra leverage and smoother operation when reeling in the tape line. Lines supplied are yellow enamel coated and tough baked for maximum durability.

Tape Line Graduation Styles
Short Line Tapes
M6 Metric
Available in 13, 19 and 25mm widths. Graduated in mm and numbered in consecutive centimetres to the end of the tape line.
ME9 Metric / Imperial
Available in 13mm (1/2"), 19mm (3/4") and 25mm (1") widths. Lower edge graduated in mm and numbered in consecutive centimetres to the end of the tape. Top edge graduated in 16ths of an inch and numbered in consecutive inches and numbered at each foot.
S12 Metric / Imperial
Available in 25mm (1") widths. Lower edge graduated in mm and numbered in consecutive centimetres to each diameter and repeat. Top edge graduated in 16ths of an inch and numbered in consecutive inches and numbered at each foot.
Long Line Tapes
L8 Metric
Graduated in millimetres and numbered in consecutive centimetres to each metre and repeat.
533 Series
Metric tapes graduated every two millimetres and numbered in consecutive centimetres to each metre and repeat. Metric/imperial tapes graduated in 8ths of an inch and numbered in consecutive inches to each foot and repeat one side, as metric tapes reverse side.
