The new Easy-Out arbor system from Starrett is the solution to a problem faced by tradesmen for years – how to quickly and easily remove the core from a hole saw after making the cut.
Easy-Out attaches to a hole saw using exactly the same process as a Starrett standard arbor. The difference is after the hole is drilled. With Easy-Out the user presses a button on the arbor body, which allows the arbor body and hole saw to be moved up the shank of the arbor towards the drill. The core that has been drilled is then left exposed on the pilot drill for easy and simple removal.
Easy-Out also doubles as an effective quick change arbor system. Simply attach an arbor body to any regularly used hole saws, and attach the one piece pilot drill and shank to the chuck of the drill. Users can then change between different saws by pressing the button on the arbor body and sliding the body and hole saw off the pilot drill. A different saw is attached by sliding it and the attached arbor body down the pilot drill until the arbor body clicks into place.
